Kilmarnock Harriers XC - Kilmarnock 9/11/08
The XC season continued at Kilmarnock with several good results.
Euan Penrice (Stewartry AC) continued his good form by finishing 2nd (7:23) in the Under 11 boys, 2 seconds behind the winner. Angus Johnstone (Nithsdale AC) wasn't far behind in 7:34, finishing 5th.
Laura Penrice (Stewartry AC) battled to 8th place in the Under 13 girls race. Her time was 14:11. Further back, Kathryn Park (Nithsdale AC) finished 20th (15:37).
Daniel Gibson (Nithsdale AC) was back in XC action after his exploits in Gorebridge. He finished 35th (16:21) in the Under 13 boys race.
David Vernon's (Nithsdale AC) season continued with another fine run in the Under 17s men's race. He finished in 2nd place (21:44) behind Shettleston's Lachlan Oates.
