Serbia is the destination for Hood
Nicola Hood (VP-Glasgow) earned a call-up for Great Britain & NI for the European Junior Championships after a brilliant 5th placed finish at the Aviva UK World Trials. Her time of 10:24 was just outside the qualifying standard of 10:20 but due to her ranking in Europe, the selection panel chose to take Nicola to Serbia. She will be one of 4 Scottish athletes there. All the Scots are female and compete in middle distance events. Jenny Tan (Fife) competes in the 800m, while Nicola's teammates Josephine Moultrie and Beth Potter compete in the 1500m and 3000m respectively.
